【摘要】:Thisstandardprovidesthesignalinganddatatransmissionrequirementsassociatedwiththefollowingsupplementalfeaturesthatutilizenetwork-originatedon-hookdatatransmissiononanalogvoicegradeswitchedaccesslinesthatuseloop-startsignaling:-CallingNumberDelivery(CND);-CallingNameDelivery(CNAM);-VisualMessage-WaitingIndicator(VMWI).TheuseoftheCND,CNAM,orVMWIsupplementalfeatureswithIntegratedServicesDigitalNetwork(ISDN)accesslinesisbeyondthescopeofthisstandard.ThisstandardisintendedtobeusedinconjunctionwithAmericanNationalStandardforTelecommunica?tions-Interfacebetweencarriersandcustomerinstallations-Analogvoicegradeswitchedaccesslinesusingloop-startandground-startsignaling,ANSIT1.401-1993.Theon-hookdatatransmissionfeaturesdescribedinthisstandardmaynotbeavailableonaccesslinesthatutilizeground-startsignaling.Thesupplementalfeaturesprovideinformationaboutthecallingaccesslinetothecalledaccesslineorinformationaboutamessagethatiswaitingtoberetrieved.Customerinstallationequipmentthatreceivestheinformationassociatedwiththeseservicescannormallydisplay,print,orstoretheinformation,how?ever,suchcapabilitiesareoutsideofthescopeofthisstandard.Requirementsinthisstandardarespecifiedattheinterfacebetweentelecommunicationscarriers,andcustomerpremisescablingandequipment.Inthisstandard,thetelecommunicationscarriernetworkisreferredtoasthenetworkandcustomerpremisescablingandequipmentisreferredtoasthecustomerinstallation(Cl).TheinterfacebetweenthenetworkandtheClisreferredtoastheNetworkInterface(Nl).ThesignalsthatthenetworkpresentsattheNlarebasicallyoftwotypes:normaltelecommunicationssystemvoltagesandcurrents,andvoltagesandcurrentsduetomaintenanceactivities.Thenormalsig?nalsarespecifiedinthisstandard.Abnormalvoltagesandcurrentsthataretheresultoftheenvironment(e.g.,inducedvoltagesandcurrentsorlightning)arenotcoveredinthisstandard.Tariffs,contracts,orregulatoryactsinvariousjurisdictionsmaycontainadditionalormorestringentre?quirementsthanthoseinthisstandard.
