【摘要】:Thisstandardsetsforththedesign,construction,andperformancerequirementsforasolidradioactivewasteprocesingsystemforlight-water-cooledreactorplants.Forthepurposesofthisstandard,thesolidradioactivewasteprocessingsystembeginsattheinterfacewiththeliquidradioactivewasteprocessingsystemboundaryandattheinletstothespentresin,filtersludge,evaporatorconcentrate,andphaseseparatortanks.Inaddition,thisstandardpertainstodryactivewaste,mixedwaste,andothersolidradioactivewasteformsthataregeneratedaspartoftheoperationandmaintenanceoflight-water-cooledreactorplants.Thesystemincludesfacilitiesfortemporary(upto30daysofanticipatednormalwastegeneration)on-sitestorageofpackagedwastebutterminatesatthepointofloadingthefilleddrumsandothercontainersonavehicleforshippingoff-sitetoalicenseddisposalsiteortransfertointerim(upto5yr)on-sitestoragefacilities.Thesolidradioactivewasteprocessingsystemisnotasafety-classsystemasdefinedbyAmericanNationalStandardNuclearSafetyCriteriafortheDesignofStationaryPressurizedWaterReactorPlants,ANSI/ANS-51.1-1983(R1988)orasdefinedinAmericanNationalStandardNuclearSafetyCriteriafortheDesignofStationaryBoilingWaterReactorPlants,ANSI/ANS-52.1-1983(R1998).
