【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverstheestablishmentofrequirementsforhomopolymersofvinylchlorideinoriginalpowderformintendedforsubsequentmixingandprocessinginthermoplasticcompositions.Theseresinshaveanominalspecificgravityof1.4andatheoreticalchlorinecontentof56.8%.Twotypesofresinhavebeenrecognized:generalpurposeanddispersion.Whenmixedwiththecustomaryamountofplasticizer,general-purposeresinsyieldadryormoistpowderwhiledispersionresinsyieldaliquidslurry.Sincemanyresinsarepolymerizedtomeetspecialrequirements,asystemofclassificationhasbeenprovidedthatpermitsawidechoiceofgrades.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Note1-Thisstandardissimilarincontent(butnottechnicallyequivalent)toISO1264-1980.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
