【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesgenericcablingforusewithinpremiseswhichmaycomprisesingleormultiplebuildingsonacampus.Itcoversbalancedcablingandopticalfibrecabling.Thestandardisoptimisedforpremisesinwhichthemaximumdistanceoverwhichtelecommunicationsserviceshavetobedistributedis2000m.TheprinciplesofthisEuropeanStandardmayalsobeappliedtolargerinstallations.Cablingdefinedbythisstandardsupportsawiderangeofservicesincludingvoice,data,text,imageandvideo.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifies:a)thestructureandconfigurationforgenericcabling;b)cablingperformancerequirements;c)implementationoptions.Safety(electricalsafetyandprotection,fire,etc.)andelectromagneticcompatibility(EMC)requirementsareoutsidethescopeofthisEuropeanStandardandarecoveredbyotherstandardsandregulations.However,informationgiveninthisEuropeanStandardmaybeofassistanceinmeetingthesestandardsandregulations.
