【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthephysicalandmagneticcharacteristicsofan8mmwidemagnetictapecartridgecontainingamemorychiptoenablephysicalinterchangeofsuchcartridgesbetweendrives.Italsospecifiesthequalityoftherecordedsignals,therecordingmethodandtherecordedformat-calledAdvancedIntelligentTapeNO.1withMemoryInCartridge(AIT-1withMIC)-therebyallowingdatainterchangebetweendrivesbymeansofsuchmagnetictapecartridges.TheSystemLogisrecordedintheMIC.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestwotypesofcartridgedependingonthethicknessofthemagnetictapecontainedinthecase.Informationinterchangebetweensystemsalsorequires,ataminimum,agreementbetweentheinterchangepartiesupontheinterchangecode(s)andthespecificationsofthestructureandlabellingofotheinformationontheinterchangedcartridge.
