【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstherequirementsforchemical-resistantresinmortarsforbondingchemical-resistantbrickortile.Mortarsofthisgroupgenerallyhavebetterphysicalpropertiesandresistawidervarietyofchemicalsthaninorganicmortars.Fortheuseofthesematerials,seePracticeC399.Note1Resinmortarsandgroutsaredifferentiatedasfollows:resinmortarsaretroweledontothebrickortile,insufficientquantitytoachievea1/8-in.(3-mm)thickjointafterthebrickortilearelaidinplace(butteringorbricklayer''smethod).Resingroutsareappliedtothejoints,generally1/4in.(6mm)wide,afterthebrickortilearesetinplaceandthesettingbedhashardened(groutingortilesetter''smethod).RefertoSpecificationC658.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
