【摘要】:Thisspecificationservesasaguideforthepurchaseofzipperstobeusedfordungarees,jeansorworktrousers.Uponagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier,zippersintendedforthisend-useshouldmeetalloftherequirementslistedinTable1ofthisspecification.Itisrecognizedthatforpurposesoffashionoraestheticstheultimateconsumermayfindacceptabledungarees,jeansorworktrousers,havingzippersthatdonotconformtoalloftherequirementsinTable1.Therefore,oneormoreoftherequirementslistedinTable1maybemodifiedbyagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier.Insuchcases,andreferencestothisspecificationshallspecifythat:ThiszippermeetsPerformanceSpecificationD4465exceptforthefollowingcharacteristic(s).Wherenoprepurchaseagreementhasbeenreachedbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier,andincaseofcontroversy,therequirementslistedinTable1areintendedtobeusedasaguideonly.Asnotedin5.3ultimateconsumerdemandsdictatevaryingperformanceparametersforanyparticularstyleofzipper.Theusesandsignificanceofparticularpropertiesandtestmethodsarediscussedintheappropriatesectionsofthespecifiedtestmethods.1.1Thisperformancespecificationcoverszipperstobeusedasflyclosuresindungarees,jeansandworktrousersmadefromheavydenimorotherdurablefabric,approximately475g/m2(14oz/yd2).1.2Zipperscoveredbythisspecificationmaybesatisfactoryforlighterweightdenimandotherfabrics.1.2.1Whenlighterweightmaterialisbeingused,considerationshouldbegiventothezippersizeandslidertypebecauseoftheireffectontheappearanceofthezipperinstallationarea.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.
