【摘要】:Samplingisequallyasimportantasthetesting,andthesamplershalluseeveryprecautiontoobtainsamplesthatwillshowthenatureandconditionofthematerialswhichtheyrepresent.Samplesforpreliminaryinvestigationtestsareobtainedbythepartyresponsiblefordevelopmentofthepotentialsource(Note2).Samplesofmaterialsforcontroloftheproductionatthesourceorcontroloftheworkatthesiteofuseareobtainedbythemanufacturer,contractor,orotherpartiesresponsibleforaccomplishingthework.Samplesforteststobeusedinacceptanceorrejectiondecisionsbythepurchaserareobtainedbythepurchaserorhisauthorizedrepresentative.Note28212;Thepreliminaryinvestigationandsamplingofpotentialaggregatesourcesandtypesoccupiesaveryimportantplaceindeterminingtheavailabilityandsuitabilityofthelargestsingleconstituententeringintotheconstruction.Itinfluencesthetypeofconstructionfromthestandpointofeconomicsandgovernsthenecessarymaterialcontroltoensuredurabilityoftheresultingstructure,fromtheaggregatestandpoint.Thisinvestigationshouldbedoneonlybyaresponsibletrainedandexperiencedperson.Formorecomprehensiveguidance,seetheAppendix.1.1Thispracticecoverssamplingofcoarseandfineaggregatesforthefollowingpurposes:1.1.1Preliminaryinvestigationofthepotentialsourceofsupply,1.1.2Controloftheproductatthesourceofsupply,1.1.3Controloftheoperationsatthesiteofuse,and1.1.4Acceptanceorrejectionofthematerials.Note18212;Samplingplansandacceptanceandcontroltestsvarywiththetypeofconstructioninwhichthematerialisused.AttentionisdirectedtoPracticesE105andD3665.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
